Focallure Matte Liquid Lipstick Review
I love lipstick, but I don’t like leaving one million kissy marks all over Logan. I’ve been on the search for a great kissable lipstick. One that isn’t necessarily forever lasting, but will not smudge or need to be reapplied within a few hours. Recently, I was turned onto this make-up brand by a friend.
About the Brand:
It’s fairly new and unknown by many. This brand is pretty awesome I have to say. They do not test on animals – yay! Their products can only be purchased online at the moment. I have to say that for me, this isn’t an issue – I LOVE online shopping. They offer free shipping on orders over $25 ( which is worldwide, not just in the US ). AND they have great customer service. Buying makeup online can be tough – since you can’t know for sure what the color will look like on your skin. Their customer support helped me pick a few lipstick shades that would be best for my skin tone. Also, they are very well priced. I buy about 85% of my make-up at the drug store, and their prices are similar to the drug store brands ( my liquid lipstick was only $15 ). You can check them out HERE.
About the Lipstick:
Wear – True to the name, this liquid lipstick dried matte. Once dried, it did not smudge or come off when I was giving Logan smooches. It lasted about 5 hours ( with eating and drinking – a lot ) before the color started to wear off and I needed to reapply – which I liked. I don’t like products that claim to last on your face forever and you have to scrub to get them off…
Consistency – My lips felt VERY matte – I couldn’t rub them together like you do with gloss or chapstick. At first they felt a little sticky when it dried. After a few hours it felt smooth and I forgot I had lipstick on.
Color – The pigment was very dark! I only needed to apply one coat of the lipstick to achieve such a bold and dark color. I love it!
Rating – 8/10
I will be back to buy from this brand again. I really do love the lipstick and the colors are great! I think on my next order I will try some of their other makeup products as well ( they carry everything ).
