Mom bod? Not into it.
Mommy Tummy? Not into it either.
There’s something about that term ‘mom bod’ that just make you think of a frumpy lady who eats bon bon’s all day. I’m just not into that.
Coming out of high school, I started fitness blogging. Being young, I had a lot of spare time – which I spent working on myself. As I moved in with Brandon and we got married, I started to stray away from my fit lifestyle. It became easier to eat fast food and to skip my workouts. Before getting pregnant with Logan, my workout routine wasn’t regular. I was working a TON, going to school and moving into our new house. I wasn’t very dedicated to fitness – but it was always in the back of my mind.
Fitness and a healthy lifestyle hasn’t been my top priority for a few years.
How to get rid of Post-Baby Weight for Good
I found Body Pursuit through Instagram. I noticed a few of my favorite mommy bloggers talking about their new health plan – and how it can seamlessly transition into their families lives.
What is Body Pursuit?
An online Personal Trainer that actually works.
Meal plans that make you, and your family full. The meals Tahnee has created are delicious – our favorite is the burrito bowl – and they can be worked into your whole family’s diet! You’re eating good food, that’s good for you. It can be made vegan – like mine!
The fitness plan was a bit daunting at first. There are both gym and home workouts to choose from as well as video guides to each exercise. It was hard to get used to at first – my first week I don’t think I was able to finish a single workout – but now I can fly through them and still feel great afterwards.
Motivation from the master herself. Tahnee is there for you 24/7, she sends a motivational text every morning to get you going. As well as weekly video chats, contests and group chat have kept me on track.
How does it work?
Trainer and coach Tahnee has created a program that is doable and structured to women – moms especially. She understood the challenges that moms face with their busy schedules and she worked around that.
My favorite thing about Body Pursuit
My results. My postpartum weight loss was at about 28 pounds before I started Body Pursuit – but that was it. I hit my plateau after Logan was 4 months old and I was not able to motivate myself to lose the rest. I started Body Pursuit in June – it has been 2 months and I am feeling AMAZING.
I am down from a size 9 to a size 5 and I’m 6 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight.
