DIY Cute Kids Lumber Jack Halloween Costume – Easy Costume Idea

MY HEART!!!

This costume is probably going to be the cutest, and also the easiest! I pulled this really cute plaid shirt right out of our closet. I think it was Loggy’s from Christmas last year. I didn’t really know what type of pants a lumberjack would prefer. I think that a khaki looked cuter, but the internet seems to think that they like jeans better – like who would really like to wear jeans better than a pair of khakis, a madman!

I had one of the most fun mornings getting Loggy ready to shoot this costume. I’m not sure if he really liked it, but he definitely thought it was funny. I let him color a bit of his own beard. Every time I do my makeup, he always wants to try, so finally, I let him try it today. Plus, he always tries to color on his face when we play for markers…

What You’ll Need:
  • Red Plaid Shirt
  • Jeans/Khakis
  • Beanie
  • Brown Eyeliner/Dark Color Makeup
  • Mini Toy Axe

I really contemplated about getting him the ax or not, I thought it might be a bit ridiculous for a baby to be carrying an ax. But then I also thought that people might not understand what the costume want he was supposed to be like he looked a little bit like a hipster with just the shirt, jeans and a beard on…

How to make the cutest Kids Lumberjack Halloween Costume

Step 1 – Get on your plaid shirt, jeans/khakis, and beanie.

Step 2 – Spike up the front pieces of hair that stick out from the beanie.

Step 3 – Make the outline of the beard about halfway up the cheek.

Step 4 – Kids turn! Let them finish their Lumberjack beard by making their own fuzzy face!
